About the Job,

Installer Team Account Manager:

  • Responsible for business development within assigned customer base, and development and support of sales growth of non-assigned customers, as needed.
  • Review all reporting, such as Variance Reports, to make adjustments as needed.
  • Development of new customer business
  • Maintain daily, weekly, monthly call schedule and follow-up schedule
  • Analyze and maintain volume on a per account basis
  • Achieve net sales targets on a monthly basis
  • Manage outbound freight, delivery and returns for customers, along with related expenses
  • Educate customers on new products, promotions, and tools to drive additional sales growth
  • Assist with phone order coverage for Sales Central customers, as well as overflow calls from group peers on an as-needed basis
  • Work with Product Managers to enhance and improve existing product lines
  • to establish and retain a relationship with customers
  • Special projects as needed


Commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Position Requirements:

  • Extensive working knowledge and use of factory European Electronic Parts Catalogs. This position is very detail oriented.
  • A background in auto parts distribution is a significant plus, especially in the German and Swedish wholesale parts business
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and resolve customer issues in a prompt and courteous manner
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work with a team, as well as independently
  • Valid California Driver’s License
  • Clean driving record, insurable by SSF under company policy
  • Report any change in your personal status (driving, address, phone, marital, births, deaths) to Human Resources
  • Work consistent with SSF Employee Handbook, guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Maintain a professional attitude with all SSF employees, customers, vendors and visitors
  • Answer telephones in professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain a safe working environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team based environment
