About the Job,

Operations Support:

This position will be responsible for Freight Reporting and Review, Carrier holiday communication, procedure distribution, daily reports to Warehouse Managers, as well as other Operational and Facility reporting and communication.


Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Position Requirements:

  • Daily AS400 Freight Reporting
  • Daily GSO package reporting for E&D
  • Daily Scanning and Order Reporting
  • Weekly scanning Performance Reporting by Location
  • Freight Bill Review
  • Carrier Holiday Calendar Communication
  • Late carrier package communication to sales
  • Scanner and Cradle Warranty Support
  • Quarterly Scanner Inventories
  • Haz Training Tracking
  • Manages Haz Label inventory
  • Monthly Haz search for non-compliant new parts
  • Updating Office & Whse Safety Manuals
  • Distributing New or Updated Procedures
  • Process USPS Refund Requests
  • Processing Call Tags for returns
  • Weekly Weights Review in AS400
  • Special projects as needed
  • Arrive on time and ready to work each morning
  • Take and return from all breaks including lunch as per assigned schedule
  • Report all injuries to manager & Human Resources on day of event
  • Fully understand Operations departmental procedures and policies
  • Keep Operation Manager informed of projects status
  • Provide Operations Manager with quarterly update of goals and accomplishments
  • Valid California Driver’s License
  • Clean driving record, insurable by SSF under company policy
  • Report any change in your personal status (driving, address, phone, marital, births, deaths) to Human Resources
  • Work consistent with SSF Employee Handbook, guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Maintain a professional attitude with all SSF employees, customers, vendors and visitors
  • Answer telephones in professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain a safe working environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team based environment
  • Work overtime or hours other than those normally scheduled whenever necessary


Physical Demands

  • Repetitive use of hands and arms
  • Prolonged use of computer monitor


Other Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and Outlook Skills
  • Use of AS400, and PC literate
  • Attention to detail
  • Good oral and written communication skills


Education Required

  • High school diploma
