About the Job,

Warehouse Lead:

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead for our Atlanta (Norcross) location.  3-5 years general warehouse experience required performing such duties as receiving, stocking, order pulling, and shipping, and 1-2 years supervisory experience.  Responsible for providing outstanding customer service by assisting in directing the daily workflow of the warehouse, under the direction of the Warehouse Manager.  Assume responsibility for warehouse when the Warehouse Manager is absent.  Responsible for pick pack printer, deliveries and common carrier shipments.


Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Position Requirements:


  • Check in with Warehouse Manager each morning to verify assignments.
  • Keep assigned work area clean and neatly organized at all times.
  • Inspect department for safety daily.
  • Responsible for printer area as assigned, making sure pick packs are pulled off the regular and drop ship printers in a timely manner, and correctly highlighted and stamped.
  • Maintain proper workflow of shipping and delivery areas by determining what is pulled when, to ensure that all delivery trucks leave on time and all shipments that print before their carrier’s cut-off times are shipped same day.
  • Answer all phone or email inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Research and process MMs on outgoing orders.
  • Process misships per Misship Procedures.
  • Supervise Pullers, ensuring they work at a good pace and meet their daily numbers.
  • Ensure that all orders are scanned/checked prior to being packed.
  • Supervise processing of common carrier shipments.
  • Research any lost common carrier packages with carrier.
  • File common carrier claims for damaged or lost shipments.
  • Print end of day manifests for all common carrier machines.
  • Ensure manifest is signed and filed.
  • Export all common carrier machines each night, or during the day to facilitate finalizing.
  • Make sure all AS400 sessions are logged off each night.
  • Check supplies and order as necessary, including common carrier supplies and packaging supplies.
  • Notify Warehouse Manager and Operations immediately if any problems arise with common carrier machines or pick-ups.
  • Assist in pulling, checking, packing, and sending of orders for shipping/delivery as requested by Warehouse Manager.
  • Carefully handle all product to avoid injury to self and/or damage to the product.
  • Special projects as needed



  • 3-5 years general warehouse experience
  • 1-2 years supervisory experience
  • Must be motivated, energetic and pay attention to details
  • Maintain a professional attitude with all SSF employees, customers, vendors, and visitors
  • Answer telephones and email in professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain a safe and secure working environment
  • AS400, MSExcel, Outlook, Shipping PC
  • Forklift certified
  • Good oral and written communications skills
